As a Dental Nurse you provide chair-side assistance to the Dental Surgeon during restorative and surgical procedures. Additionally you will be expected to undertake Reception and clerical tasks when necessary.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly competent and committed team, you will need to be a team player, someone who is able to build up relationships with people from all walks of life and settings and also with stakeholders including Dentists, Practice and Assistant Practice Manager and South East Health Primary Care Business Manager. Most of all you need to be motivated to guide your Colleagues with best practice and provide fantastic care to the patients!.

iDental are an emergency Out of Hours emergency service and are part of the IC24 group. Integrated Care 24 are the leading not for profit Social Enterprise providing innovative and patient focused primary care services. IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care and secondary care support services.




Location: iDental, Brighton and Hove Emergency Dental Service


Hours: 4.75 Week Day Evening and 8.25 hours Weekend


About you:


· You must be registered or working towards registration with the General Dental Council.

· You must have a Dental Nurse qualification or be working towards a Dental Nurse qualification.

· Previous experience working in a busy Dental Practice is essential

· You must be IT literate

· You must have great communication skills, but be calm and empathic to the patients.

· You must be able to work Evenings and Weekends.

Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS disclosure and two references.
