The job purpose of this to transport GPs on visits around the locality to visit patients, ensuring their confidentiality is maintained at all times, as well as reception duties such as booking and coordinating appointments for patients to be seen at our bases. 

Do you have good knowledge and understanding of the Kent area and can use various IT solutions and have a full clean driving licence. Are you able to show fantastic care and compassion to patients and willing to work overnight and weekends as the norm for our out of hour’s service? We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), the leading not for profit Social Enterprise providing innovative and patient focused primary care services. IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care and secondary care support services.

Location: We have positions in each of the following: East Kent (Canterbury/Margate), West Kent (Maidstone/Tunbridge Wells) and North Kent (Dartford/Gravesend)

Hours Available: We have various hours available – Evenings, overnights, and weekends.

This can be a full-time role or part time. There will also be opportunities to cover additional shifts for annual leave and sickness at all three dispatch locations.

What’s in it for you: -

Hourly rates:

  • Weekdays between 06:00 and 20:00 £11.47 per hour.
  • Weekdays after 20:00 and before 06:00 or Saturdays 15% uplift.
  • All worked time on Sundays 20% uplift. 
  • All worked time on Bank Holidays 60% uplift.
  • Additional annual leave above statutory minimum based on service

Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory standard DBS disclosure and two references.
