Driver / Receptionist – Mid & South Essex Out of Hours

Must hold a full, clean, manual UK driving license. 

 

The Role

This role is an exciting blend of responsibilities:

  • Receptionist duties: Welcome patients with compassion and ensure confidentiality. Handle a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations. You’ll need excellent empathy and strong IT skills to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress.
  • Driver duties: Conduct vehicle and equipment checks, and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they’ll provide essential care. You may also be accompanying clinicians into patient homes.

Every shift offers variety, making it an engaging role while providing the opportunity to make a real difference in the community. There are clear pathways for career progression and development in a variety of roles within IC24.
