This role is an exciting blend of responsibilities:
- Receptionist duties: Welcome patients with compassion and ensure confidentiality. Handle a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations. You’ll need excellent empathy and strong IT skills to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress.
- Driver duties: Conduct vehicle and equipment checks, and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they’ll provide essential care. You may also be accompanying clinicians into patient homes.
Every shift offers variety, making it an engaging role while providing the opportunity to make a real difference in the community. There are clear pathways for career progression and development in a variety of roles within IC24.

IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
Location: Across Norfolk and Waveney
Hours Available: This is an Out of Hours Service- the shifts are Evenings, Overnight and weekends covering a 24/7 operation. This is a Bank role.
About you:
- You must be over the age of 21 years (this is for Insurance purposes).
- You must be able to drive both a Manual and Automatic car- as our IC24 Vehicles are a mixture of both!
- We ask that you are patient, empathetic and caring in nature, as you will be coming in to contact with our patients.
- You organised and be able to multi task!.
- You must be able to work Out of Hours (Evenings, Overnights, Weekends and Bank Hols)

Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory standard DBS disclosure and two references.
