NHS 111 Call Handler - Pathways Trained Ashford

The Role

Are you an experienced and currently trained Tier Two NHS 111 Health Advisor who is looking for greater flexibility and a better work life balance in Ashford or surrounding areas? Do you have at least six month's post Pathways’ training experience and a passion for the role? Are you available for 12 to 37.5 hours per week?  If so, we would love to hear from you.

You need to currently, or recently (within the last 6 weeks) have worked as a Tier Two Pathways/Health Advisor (Call Handler), living in England or Wales, with a suitable internet connection (minimum requirement - 20+ Mbps download / 4+ Mbps upload) and a quiet, private space to work from.

Although the role is based at home, you will need to travel to Ashford contact centre if circumstances change and homeworking is no longer viable. You will be required to attend one of site for training on your first day and/or further face to face training, support, or guidance if required.

Location: Hybrid, with occasional travel to Ashford 

Hours Available: We have full and part time opportunities ranging from a minimum of 12 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week, covering a 24/7 operation

We have rotas available for Saturdays-Mondays 08:00-20:00 and will consider additional hours at other times. We also have overnight rotas and split shifts available. 

We are confident we can find a rota that works for you but please note that we so we require a minimum amount of shifts to be undertaken during weekends as part of your regular rota and shift patterns can vary.

Additional hours may be available in times of peak demand.

Training                

Applicants must be available to start training on 18th November 2024. 

This will include 1 week of training Monday to Friday 9-5pm followed by coaching sign offs the following week. 

You must be able to attend every day of your course. Please note these start dates may vary slightly.

Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and two references.
