Job Introduction
Could You Save Lives With Your Voice? Join Us as an NHS 111 Health Advisor in Norwich
Location: Reed House, Norwich
About the Role
We’re looking for calm, compassionate and patient-focused individuals to become NHS 111 Health Advisors at IC24 in Norwich.
When someone calls 111, you’ll be the first voice they hear. Using the NHS Pathways system, you’ll assess their needs and provide safe, non-clinical advice. The calls you take can range from simple prescription requests to helping someone in emotional distress. You’ll need to stay calm under pressure, think on your feet and record detailed notes on the system quickly and accurately.
We proactively encourage and support our Health Advisors to progress through the ranks as a Non-Clinical Coach, Service Manager or Team Manager where possible. We also offer development opportunities through our national recognised patient service qualification programme, Aspire to Excellence.
If you’re a good listener, can stay composed in challenging situations and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
