We are looking for a talented People Coordinator to join our People & Culture Services Hub on a fixed‑term contract. This central team provides a wide range of people administration support across the full employee.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for candidates, colleagues, and managers, providing accurate information and excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with colleagues across People & Culture, Payroll, IT, Workforce Planning and other teams to keep everything running efficiently.

A “right‑first‑time” mindset is essential. You’ll need strong communication skills, excellent prioritisation, and the tenacity to see tasks through to completion. We’re looking for someone who is confident using systems, comfortable working with confidential information, and always looking for opportunities to improve what we do.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing contract variations and producing addendums 
  • Managing family‑friendly policy administration 
  • Handling pay change requests and ensuring payroll deadlines are met 
  • Managing e‑files, ID badges, eye‑care vouchers and team stock 
  • Monitoring registrations, visa information and DBS renewals 
  • Providing first‑line advice and signposting more complex queries
  • Maintaining accurate colleague records 
  • Managing queries relating to Learn24, HR systems and self‑service portals 
  • Producing ad‑hoc reports when required

 

What we’re looking for

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience in HR or people administration.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel, email and HR systems
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and work accurately under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously and within a team
  • Professional, discreet and confident handling confidential information

 

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience using HRIS/ATS
  • Basic understanding of employment law
  • Experience within healthcare or NHS settings

Location  

Ashford, Kent - with the option of hybrid working.

 

Hours Available:

Full time, 37.5 hours a week

Fixed term until 23 November 2026

Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory basic DBS disclosure and two references.
