CLEO Systems is a mission‑driven, high‑performing organisation where our people can thrive, grow, and do their best work.

We provide highly capable, innovative, and integrated software solutions across Integrated Urgent Care, and every role at CLEO Systems contributes to our purpose: simplifying connected care.

Our mission, Clinical Excellence Online (CLEO), is centred on using technology to improve access to healthcare, reduce pressure on services, and put patients first. Supporting over 6 million patients, we work closely with the NHS to deliver impactful solutions across urgent care, primary care, community services and beyond.

About the role

As our Sales Development & HubSpot Executive, you’ll play an important part in driving our growth.

You’ll take ownership of HubSpot CRM, identify and engage potential B2B customers across the healthcare sector, and nurture prospects into well-qualified opportunities for our Sales team.

This is a varied role combining data management, reporting and sales prospecting with CRM administration, data quality, AI and automation and user support.

Working closely with our Marketing colleagues, you’ll engage prospective customers through warm calls, tailored outreach and thoughtful follow-up, building relationships and ensuring promising opportunities move seamlessly through the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Data management and Hubspot ownership
  • Manage and respond to inbound prospect opportunities, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
  • Deliver multi-channel outbound prospecting through telephone, email and professional networks, aligned with agreed campaigns and account priorities.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospective customers’ needs, stakeholder requirements, current solutions, procurement routes and timescales.
  • Secure well-prepared product demonstrations and follow-up meetings for the Sales team.
  • Nurture early-stage prospects through relevant and timely communication, maintaining clear next steps through to conversion, disqualification or return to nurture.
  • Research and prioritise target organisations and key decision-makers across the NHS, independent healthcare and relevant partner markets.
  • Support events, webinars, campaigns and product demonstrations, ensuring opportunities are followed up promptly and accurately captured within HubSpot.
  • Help maintain the quality and accuracy of CRM data, supporting effective reporting and pipeline visibility.
  • Support colleagues in using HubSpot effectively, helping us make the most of our CRM, automation and AI capabilities.
  • Work towards agreed activity, conversion, meeting and qualified-pipeline targets while maintaining a positive customer experience and high standards of data quality.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, organised and finds building relationships with prospective customers rewarding.

You’ll be comfortable combining a commercial mindset with attention to detail and will enjoy working with both people and technology.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience in sales development, business development, lead generation or a similar B2B environment.
  • Experience using HubSpot, with confidence managing CRM data and supporting effective pipeline management.
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • An organised and methodical approach to prospecting, follow-up and CRM management.
  • The ability to research organisations, identify relevant decision-makers and understand potential customer needs.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across Sales and Marketing.
  • An interest in using CRM automation and AI to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • Experience within healthcare, health technology or the NHS would be advantageous, but is not essential.
